This festival of small-scale arts, “Künste in Haus und Hof”, has been inviting its versatile audiences on a particular Saturday in mid-July for more than seven years to an extra-special summer evening in the Bach town, Arnstadt. The aim of the festival is the combination of unusual event, venues and enchanting short programmes with widely diverse artists and genres.

Whether it’s in historic town houses, churches, rambling cloister undercrofts or in the impressive squares and towers of the old Town, the annually-changing “special” locations guarantee a unique, lively and individual festival atmosphere interacting with the performances of readings, theatre, comedy, music and/or dance programmes.
